Don W. Hubbs is a seasoned wealth management professional based in Kansas City, Missouri, known for his sharp intellect, steady guidance, and genuine approach to helping clients navigate their financial journeys.
A proud alumnus of the University of Kansas, where he earned a bachelor’s degree (with a focus on human resources management and history), Don later complemented his education with an MBA from Avila University. His career began in an intriguing chapter at Bendix/Honeywell, where he contributed to high-stakes, top-secret projects within the nuclear weapons complex—a role that honed his precision, analytical skills, and ability to thrive under pressure. Transitioning to finance over 31 years ago, Don quickly established himself as a trusted expert in investment management. He held key positions at Gold Bank Trust Company, The Private Bank and Trust Company (where he served as Managing Director and Senior Investment Officer), and SeaCrest Wealth Management. Along the way, he oversaw substantial portfolios, crafted sophisticated asset allocation strategies—including hedging techniques—for high-net-worth individuals, families, non-profits, and corporations. His expertise earned him national recognition, including being named one of the top 50 investment officers in the country by Bank Investment Marketing magazine.
What sets Don apart is not just his deep knowledge of stocks, bonds, alternatives, and strategic planning, but his warm, relatable style. Don is married to a dedicated State Farm agent, Jennifer. He has three wonderful children. Harrison, works closely alongside Don as an investment advisor, collaborating with him daily. Their daughter Makena is launching her career as an interior designer in Sarasota, Florida. Their youngest, Isabella, is in her second year at the University of Central Missouri and has a passion for volunteering at Camp Barnabas during her summer breaks

Harrison Hubbs has spent most of his life around the wealth management industry, from spending time on weekends in the studio with his Dad and fellow investment professional Dave Anderson’s radio show on Sundays, along with time in the office while they debated the merits of various investments for their clients. He has always enjoyed learning about the companies, technologies, finances, and leadership of companies for investment purposes as well as growing his knowledge of all realms of the financial world.
Before becoming a full time investment professional he spent years working in the logistics space at Ryan Transportation in Overland Park, KS. After passing the Series 65 in December 2024 he joined SeaCrest Wealth Management as an Investment Advisor Representative full time. Harrison is excited to start a new chapter with the three other founding partners of Private Wealth Consulting and continue serving our clients.
Harrison is committed to providing fiduciary-driven financial guidance, helping clients build and preserve wealth through strategic, informed decisions. Each month he researches and writes an investment newsletter sent to his clients for increased transparency on how we view market conditions and structure investments.
Harrison resides in Westwood, KS and also enjoys improving his tennis, running, and doing anything outdoors.

Amy McLandress graduated with high honors from Albion College and has spent more than 25 years helping clients build, protect and enjoy their wealth. Her career began in private banking, where she served as Senior Vice President of Wealth Management in trust and investment departments for nearly 15 years. Seeking greater flexibility to put clients’ interests first without the constraints sometimes found in larger institutions, Amy joined a Registered Investment Advisory (RIA) firm, where she spent the last decade refining a highly personalized approach to comprehensive wealth management for individuals and families through all stages of their financial lives.
Today, Amy is thrilled to start a new chapter as a founding partner of a new advisory firm with three longtime colleagues. She’s passionate about delivering thoughtful, personalized advice and financial planning and providing the highest level of service and integrity. By combining decades of collective experience with the agility of an independent partnership, the firm is designed to deliver transparent wealth strategies and exceptional service without the distractions of corporate mandates or product quotas. What inspires her the most are her clients – the wonderful people she’s fortunate to work with every day.
Amy resides in Beverly Hills, Michigan with her husband Mark and 2 vizslas.

Chris has over twenty years of experience in wealth management. He started his career with The Bank of New York and spent nine years honing his skills as a portfolio manager of primarily trust portfolios.
He subsequently moved to Kansas City, where he has had investment management roles at Kornitzer Capital Management, The Private Bank, Enterprise Trust Company, and most recently, SeaCrest Wealth Management.
Chris and his wife Amy have two girls, Libby and Charlotte, and reside in Kansas City, MO. He is a graduate of Gettysburg College in Gettysburg, PA. Chris serves on the board of Directors of Palmer Square Capital BDC (PSDB), Pakmer Square Funds Trust, The Salvation Army of Kansas and Western Missouri and the Truman Library Institute.
